Located on a 2,500 square kilometer license area, the Caspytechgas field is one of Kazakhstan's super giant oil fields with estimated recoverable crude oil of 3.1 billion tonnes (25 billion barrels).
This sizable field contains approximately 200 million tonnes (1.6 billion barrels) of recoverable crude oil, with reservoir depths reaching 4,000 meters (13,000 feet).
